KENNETH KOCHENOUR

Ken Kochenour is the CEO and Founder of GF Hotels & Resorts. He served four years as a police officer for Doylestown Township before he began to aggressively pursue a career in the hospitality and real estate industry. After holding several key positions with various national hotel chains, Ken co-founded GF Hotels & Resorts. He brings to the company more than thirty years of experience in owning and operating hotel/resort facilities, turnaround deals, property evaluations, market analyses and cost controls. Since Ken’s first hotel acquisition in 1988, the company has evolved to a portfolio of more than 160 hospitality assets owned and/or managed across the United States, and which vary across a spectrum of brands including Hilton, Marriott, IHG Hotels & Resorts and more. 

Under Ken’s leadership, GF Hotels & Resorts continues to receive award winning recognition in the industry, not only from franchise affiliations but also from trade publications such as Lodging Magazine and Hotel Management Magazine, consistently being named as a top management company nationwide. This success and growth reflect Ken’s commitment to a professional workforce, strategically locating properties and ensuring guest satisfaction.

​Ken is actively involved with the Jaws Youth Fund, which supports programs benefiting at-risk children. He is also dedicated to giving back to York College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. As an engaged alumnus, Ken hosts York College's alumni events and participates in the Alumni Golf Outing. In recognition of his achievements, Ken received the Alumni Achievement Award in 2008 and was elected to the Board of Trustees of York College in 2010, where he continues to serve as a board member.

Ken is the proud father of four daughters: Karey, Kristen, Karley, and Leah. He resides with his wife Candice and their pets in Naples, Florida.
