William (Will) is a founding principal of Artemis Hotel Group and oversees strategic acquisition and development. He sources and underwrites all new investments which encompasses both individual asset and portfolio acquisitions, site selection, new development opportunities, investment analysis, and brand positioning.
Prior to cofounding Artemis Hotel Group, William spent over 15 years in the hospitality field, focusing on hotel growth through new development and acquisitions. He was the Regional Director of Franchise Development for Intercontinental Hotels Group (NYSE: IHG) where he was responsible for over 400 individual deals and $4.5 billion in RE transactions and new development. Prior his tenure at IHG, William was the Regional Director of SE development with Wyndham Hotel Group (NYSE: WYN) prior to William’s hotel career he was a king crab and Salmon fisherman in the Bering sea of Nome, AK.
William is a graduate of Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, MO and Western State University in Gunnison, Colorado. He lives in Atlanta with his wife Caroline and his two children, Charlotte and Henry. In his free time, William also enjoys playing golf and traveling.
